The Heavy Duty Clothes Dryer Venting kit is a universal kit for external venting of clothes dryers via wall or ceiling. Re-inforced construction. Can be capped off at the wall when not in use. Includes all components required for most installations.
Suits most brands, including Simpson, Electrolux, Westinghouse, Fisher and Paykel, Haier, Whirlpool, Bosch, Blanco and Miele.
Modern styled gravity vent with hidden screw holes. Gravity vent is constructed from UV stabilised polypropylene so it wont go yellow or brittle in the sun.
Description
Unlike most kits, this kit can easily be clipped off wall plate for moving and/or cleaning. The kit also has aluminium pipe that connects to the wall plate at one end and the gravity vent at the other. This keeps the hole tidy and prevents drafts or dirt and plaster dust from entering via the hole in the wall.
The kit is easy to attach to the back of the dryer – a steel adapter with a double sided adhesive ring simply sticks over the back of the dryer and the duct attaches to the adapter with a steel clamp. If you need to hang or push the clothes dryer flush against the wall, use the Dryer Vent Flat Adapter instead of the steel ring.
Components include: steel dryer adapter, wall pipe, 2.1m (7 foot) flexible duct (100mm diam), wall plate with cap, quick lock adapter, foam rings, steel worm clamps x2, screws x4 and slimline gravity vent. Installation instructions are on the box.
Can easily be converted to an eave vent by simply replacing the gravity vent with a plastic 100mm eave vent or a weatherproof aluminium louvre.
